I will do my very best to describe and direct you to the place which will provide you the information you need to understand your pension.

The Pension Plan provides eligible NFL players* with pension and disability benefits, and offers survivor protection for their wives and family. If your first Credited Season is before 1993, you may start your pension benefit as early as age 45. If your first Credited Season is 1993 or later, you may start your pension benefit at age 55 or later. The amount of your monthly pension benefit is based on the sum of benefit credits you have earned for your Credited Seasons, how old you are when you begin receiving your pension benefit, and the form in which you choose to receive your pension benefit. The decisions you make regarding when you receive payment may greatly influence the amount of money you receive.

ACTUAL NFL PLAYER BENEFITS resources are available at:
www.mygoalline.com  after you set up your username and password you will have access to  a retirement calculator which will tell you how much money you will have coming based on your specific years of service if you decide to accept payment at any specific date you chose to enter in the calculator.
